Well here we are. Boyz II Men made a song about this moment and while we linger at the proverbial end of the road with no release date or information regarding any of the silver collection we do have some nice photos of the final five models. Including the V, X, XV, XX and 2010 this one looks to host more heat than a summertime cook off. God we hope these make it to retail… Via Jumpman23

The latest Jordan Brand ‘hybrid’ model takes the shape of an rugged Air Jordan IV inspired cross trainer called the Air Jordan Expedition. JB has been received a lot of mixed feedback for their most recent basketball hybrid efforts — perhaps the reason for this exploration into a new branch of Nike ACG-esque footwear. Fitted with a fail-safe Black/Red colorway, the model features an AJIV-inspired mid panel, visible air bag, and speckled laces. You can grab a pair of the cross-trainers now from JB retailers like FinishLine.

RipCity1 DLR Sneak(er) Peek of the Week (12/16/09)
Back in September we brought you a look at a Rip Hamilton player exclusive pair of the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground that several of our readers seemed to take a liking to. It comes with “RIP CITY” stitched on the tongue and a Detroit Pistons white/varsity red/varsity blue colorway. Although it’s a little later than expected, this shoe is now slated for an official release this Saturday, December 19, 2009 from select Jordan Brand retailers, including, of course, House of Hoops locations nationwide.

Back in the beginning of October we reported that one of the results of a collaborative effort between Futura and Nike would be a white/team orange Nike Air Force 1 low that is rumored to release some time in February of next year. However, as was the case with another Futura x Nike Air Force 1 low in grey, this sample size 9 pair has surfaced on eBay- for those of you who would rather not wait until this pair releases next year to get your hands on it. For those of you who might be enticed into bidding- good luck!

WhiteM6Melo1 DLR Sneak(er) Peek of the Week (12/16/09)
In November we brought you word of a black/silver pair of the Air Jordan Melo M6 hitting Jordan retailers nationwide. Pictured here is the newest colorway of what is the sixth shoe from Carmelo Anthony’s signature sneaker line under Jordan Brand. It comes in a predominantly white upper with yellow and university blue accents that make this shoe match perfectly with the Denver Nuggets home uniform colors. Under the sneaker you will also find that it reads “AU-79/08,” which refers to the Olympic gold medal Carmelo earned as part of the USA basketball team. And Carmelo’s jersey number, 15, can also be seen near the ankle area in university blue and yellow outlining on the inner side of the sneaker. However, this release is exclusive to Foot Locker House of Hoops locations, so you might have a slightly more difficult time snagging a pair of this Air Jordan Melo M6, which went on sale yesterday. What are your thoughts on this colorway and the M6 silhouette in general?

Nike Hypermax - Emeka Okafor PE

Nike Hypermax - Emeka Okafor PE

Emeka Okafor has been a solid and consistent asset to the New Orleans Hornets, with constant blocks, rebounds, dunks, and the list goes on. That’s why Nike blessed the big man with his own player exclusive Nike Hypermax, which comes in home and away colorways. To match the Hornets uniform, the shoes follow a purple/teal colorway, using white and black as the base on each shoe, respectively. “The Pick 50″ is stitched at the back heel panel to commemorate #50 of the Hornets and how they really scored bigtime with Okafor’s signing. Be sure to watch out Chukwuemeka on the court with these bad babies soon.

By now you’ve probably seen (and drooled over) the five installments of Jordan Brand’s Silver Anniversary Collection, but now we have some more detailed images of the featured Air Jordan XI model to show you just how clean this collection really is. Featuring silver stitching and an icy translucent outsole, the otherwise white model stays true to form with leather, mesh, and patent leather panels. Like we said earlier, this model, along with the AJIV, is expected to release sometime in 2010, so make sure you stay tuned for more details.

As you may have already heard, the Nike Zoom Kobe V is slated to make its way on to Nike iD for the new year. Nike has already set up the model’s online sneaker builder so that customizers can get a handle on how they want their version to look before the shoe releases. The first round of iD ZKVs won’t be available until the 25th, but you can save any of your design work until you’re ready to make a purchase. Go check it out at NikeiD.com.

Asics Gel Lyte III Black Yellow 08 DLR Sneak(er) Peek of the Week (12/16/09)

Asics’ Gel Lyte III is back with a brand new Black and Yellow colorway. Although the color scheme has recently been considered a type of ‘unspoken property’ belonging to Lance Armstrong’s LiveStrong campaign, the shoes don’t need a charity affiliation to make use of the fresh color combination. The model features all the usual Gel Lyte III properties, like its mesh toe cap, leather upper, and Gel cushioning system. The model is available now from select retailers like Schuh-You.

While the Air Jordan Fusion line has been met with a lot of polarized sentiment, Jordan Brand doesn’t seem ready to put a halt to it any time soon, (hate it or love it, JB’s on top). Though this shoe was available from several sources for an early purchase, as many shoes in general often are, many people seemed to either not think an early purchase was necessary/worth it or they simply did not like what they saw. Regardless, Jordan Brand remains on schedule with this release. The black/varsity red-white pair of the Air Jordan Fusion XIII pictured here will be officially releasing from Air Jordan retailers tomorrow, Saturday the 12th of December for a retail price tag of $145. Will Jordan Brand be getting your attention with this drop?

AJXIIPHLY1 DLR Sneak(er) Peek of the Week (12/16/09)
Back in August we showed you a pair of the Air Jordan PHLY Legend Premier in a predominantly red color-up sure to catch the eyes of most passers by. Now we’re here to show you another pair sure to jog the memories of OG Jordan fans and remind us of the Air Jordan XII “Playoffs.” The Air Jordan PHLY pictured here borrows cues from the aforementioned AJ XII such as white towards the front bottom of the shoe, vector stitching, and the black upper. You can search for this pair at select Jordan retailers or try your luck elsewhere. Check out more pix after the jump.
